The company has developed indigenous AKS Forensic Workstation with a multi-core Xeon processor which enables faster processing of data, installed with disk imaging, analysis and reporting, password cracking and mobile forensic software. Bit by bit imaging of evidence disk into multiple disks and computation of hash value to ensure integrity of evidence is carried in the imaging process. Subsequent processing is carried out on secondary disk and original disk is returned to the organization or to the police.
AKS Information Technology provides Application Security Audit by carrying out grey box and white box (code review) testing of applications which finds out vulnerabilities according to OWASP standards and some additional security tests. These vulnerabilities are communicated to the client as a first level report with recommendation for mitigation. After patching up of vulnerabilities, client requests for second level verification. Once again application is checked thoroughly for any other risk which was not mitigated previously. External penetration testing is carried out to discover vulnerabilities whenever access or code of the application is not provided. AKS Information Technology has so far audited more than 9000 web application/web services/mobile applications.
Multiple vulnerability scanner is used for carrying out IT network security which also exploits the vulnerability as a proof of concept from inside the network. External interface test is done using external penetration testing on public IPs of the client.
